Publication Ethics
1. Purpose and Scope: The purpose of this Publication Ethics Policy is to outline the ethical principles and standards that guide the publication process of the Accounting & Management Research Review (AMRR). This policy applies to all authors, reviewers, editors, and other stakeholders involved in the publication process.
2. Authorship and Author Responsibilities:
- Authors must ensure that their submitted manuscripts are original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All authors who have made a significant contribution to the research must be listed as co-authors.
- The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining the consent of all co-authors and must ensure that all authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the research or its interpretation.
3. Plagiarism and Originality:
- Plagiarism in any form is considered unethical and is not acceptable. Authors should ensure that their work is entirely original, and any use of others' work or ideas is appropriately cited.
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected or retracted.
4. Peer Review Process:
- AMRR employs a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
- Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback. Any conflicts of interest that may compromise the impartiality of the review process must be disclosed.
- Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions based on the reviewers' evaluations and the manuscript's merit.
5. Editorial Responsibilities:
- Editors are committed to making decisions based on the manuscript's academic merit, significance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
- Editors must handle submissions confidentially and not disclose any information about a manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial board members.
